About
Célia You founded You Art Advisory, a London-based firm advising an international clientele, following her tenure at Gagosian, where she advised high-profile collectors, on building significant collections, and her earlier involvement in exhibition projects with leading European museums including the Centre Pompidou and the Palais de Tokyo. Drawing on her experience across galleries and institutions, she brings both market insight and scholarly discernment to every engagement.
Célia began her career in France after completing her BA in Fine Art and Art History, later earning an MA from Central Saint Martins and an MSc from King’s College London. Over the years, she has built trusted relationships with collectors and family offices across Europe and Asia, advising on acquisitions of high-value works by artists such as Gerhard Richter, Cecily Brown,Helen Frankenthaler, and Oscar Murillo etc.
Her advisory philosophy combines discretion and connoisseurship with a strategic understanding of value, legacy, and cultural relevance within the art market. Her market intelligence is particularly deep in regards to artists including Pablo Picasso, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Cecily Brown, Helen Frankenthaler, Joan Mitchell, Oscar Murillo, Yoshitomo Nara, Gerhard Richter, Cy Twombly, and Yayoi Kusama, among others.
